Give it a try--we liked it.

In spite of recent bad reviews we decided to give Gotham City a try for my husband's birthday. Our

waitress (Angie) was friendly and efficient. The food was very good--a lobster special, while pricey, was worth it. I had maple cider glazed pork chop from the summer $25 three course prix fixe menu and it was fabulous. The ambiance was pleasant; there was live music--not too loud. The manager came by several times to make sure we were happy. We will definitely go back. Do make a reservation. They were fairly busy even though it was a Wednesday night in the off-season. Last week we ate at another steakhouse in Boca and this was better.

• Pros: ambiance, live music, service
• Cons: skip the espresso--wasn't very good

Very disapointed on a special occassion

Service was awful. Got my steak wrong three times and at the end it was unedible. Would do nothing about it. Had to eat my appitizer on the table cloth could not get anyone to get me plates. Ambience was nice, bathroom was cute but if you want your steak well done or expect any kind of service this is not the place to go.

PRIME IS THE WORD...AT GOTHAM CITY...

Dinner at Gotham City is like sinking into oblivion, just sit back in the sexy interior, and PRIME steak melts in your mouth. No phony baloney here...steaks are prime and above...no questions asked. When it comes to maximum dining pleasure this be the joint. Service and wine spectator list are the foods only rivals....and get this they also have a gourmet water list to start you off. oh and the celebs and classy women just wont quit. Try the Kobe chili cheddar fries...

• Pros: prime steaks, superior seafood , great sides

Food was awesome but don't expect decent service.

Went to celebrate our anniversary and was dissappointed by the table for two we received. Not very romantic or a place to go and have a quiet conversation; however, we were very impressed by the food. Certainly don't expect top notch service for the price you pay............we were given the wrong soup, had to ask for steak knives and wasn't given the sauce we requested with our dinner. Our waitress also lacked major personality and seemed rather bothered by our requests. Must go to experience at least once though.

• Pros: Great Food, Creative presentation, Nice atmosphere
• Cons: Bad Service, Noisy, Expensive

A FABULOUS NIGHT OUT, A+++ MEAL TO REMEMBER

Gotham City seems to get better and better with time. a cutting edge pace to compliment the 4 star food and service. When I read that there is "no beef about the beef" in a National Magazine I concur wholeheartedly!!! It's no wonder the celebs and "A" crowd just keep in coming through the door...No other Boca Delray restaurant dares to compare. A++++. Its not for everyone, (especially if you have trouble spelling), just for those who get great restaurants and appreciate them...this is certainly one for foodies and star gazing..

• Pros: a crowd, excellent service, perfect food

DEFINITELY THE BEST OF CITYSEARCH

ITS NO SURPISE THAT GOTHAM CITY RATED 10.0 AND WON THE BEST AMERICAN RESTAURANT/STEAKHOUSE IN SOUTH FLORIDA.

Prime steak from the Chicago stockyards, Fresh Jumbo Stone Crabs from the warm waters off Miami, and Kobe Beef truly a delicacy...

When you order world class food in a world class restaurant there is nothing like it...

If your a shy dining amateur theres lots of other options than the big guns I just mentioned.

Thats what makes it great for everyone!!

TOTAL GREATNESS ON ALL LEVELS

When we pulled up to the grand canopy entrance in the Mizneresque property and looked down the Gotham City park outdoor dining area with the Outdoor Bar venue studded with chizzled granite bartops...we knew something very special was in store! Upon entering the lavish dining room which was guilded with lit candelabras and hundreds of candles against custom ledgstone walls, and ventian finishes, giant lighting fixtures and a leather and glass bar...we were floored. The food was five star and uniquely prepared to satisfy to the max. Flavor, presentation and execution = Gotham City!

I award FIVE STARS ABSOLUTELY DYNAMITE...
