Walking into a Babies R' Us without a game plan to get in and out is dangerous. There is so much junk, so much pastel STUFF that they promise you that every young mother will need, that it's hard to know where to start. Most new mothers, however, seem to register here, so if you're invited to a baby shower, it's a handy location to have in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful when you're trying to search for random items from a friend's registry. Just be forewarned: everything is pastel, so if you want to give a cool baby gift, make it yourself.
