We visited the alternative location for Spanos, as the Arnold Ave location is often packed on Saturday nights. The upstairs location is a romantically decorated, small room with bar. The piano player accompanied with appropriate music throughout our dinner. We started with the cold antipasto, average. The bread was too airy and dry for my taste. The house salad was sloppy, but the balsamic dressing was good. I had the Spagettinti Carbonara, which was perfect. My husband had the Chicken Ala Carmell which he enjoyed. Both portions were HUGE. The dessert was my favorite, Tartufo and cappuccino which were both divine! The service was very good..not pushy, nicely timed and knowledgeable.
