A dog's vacation

Over the holidays, I was placed in the uncomfortable position of having to choose one of my four furry friends to take to see my extended family and leaving three of them behind here in Nashville. I was saddened and dismayed because they are part of my family, but my mother's home is very small and not equipped for my furry family members and they would be miserable there. As such, I needed to find a place for them to stay that would be comfortable with people that were kind-hearted and that could care for them the way I would in my absence. It was very important to me that the person in charge of my pet care would be able to watch over them diligently and make sure they were comfortable and happy at all times.

Luckily, I chose well. Pet Resorts is seated just outside of downtown Nashville, so it was very convenient for me to check them in on my way out of town. The rates were actually quite reasonable, especially for multiple dogs, and were not much greater than the "friend discount" I get when a friend of mine comes to take care of them at home. I was very pleased by this as they had a lot more room at Pet Resorts as well as time to frolic in their run.

I was very impressed by how friendly the staff was and how quickly my dogs took to them. I was not intimidated by the thought of leaving my dogs there and I was even more at ease when I checked in over the holiday weekend to find out that one of the managers had taken the extra step of providing them a blanket and toys because we'd forgotten them.

When our dogs came home, they were smiling (you know that doggie smile!) and were tuckered out. They did not exhibit the doggie anxiety I've seen in my pets at other times of being outside the home and they were in excellent shape. I will not hesitate to use Pet Resorts of America again and have already booked for upcoming trips out of town.

The only concern I have is that I may not be able to book them fast enough as they fill up quickly for holidays. I guess the word has spread that they are just wonderful. Please consider them for your sweet furbabies when you need to take a trip out of town for work, vacation, or emergencies. They were wonderful and accommodating and very, very patient.

Professional care at an affordable price

Happy Dog!

Pet Resort is a happy place. We having been boarding our three dogs here for 3 years. When we drop off our dogs, they are happy to see the staff. They have a large run where my dogs can stay together. They always seem well cared for and happy when we pick them up. We would recommend Pet Resort for your next vacation!

Pet Resorts is great!

We have been customers of Pet Resorts for over 5 years here in Nashville. The staff members are super friendly and always take good care of my golden retriever. They are always receptive, and the only place we trust to board our pet. The facilities are nice, and definitely recommend to anyone to use Pet Resorts to board your pet on your next vacation!

Clean and Professional Boarding Facility

My first experience with Pet Resorts of America was a great one! We just moved here from out of state, so I was a bit nervous about finding a new place for my two dogs to go. The great reviews online along with two daily walks convinced me Pet Resorts of America was the place to go. Unlike our last boarding facility, the lobby area was clean and had no urine smell, and I felt like it wouldn't be a cramped environment. Although I didn't get a chance to walk through where my dogs would actually be staying, I felt very comfortable leaving them there for the weekend, and the staff was so friendly with my dogs immediately. I also really appreciated the doggie "progress report" we got when we picked them up! It made me feel like the staff really cared about my dogs and payed attention to them. I will definitely be bringing them back!

Pleasantly surprised

Rocket is a very highly strung and anxious dog. I had not boarded her in over six years. Needless to say I was anxious about leaving her for a week in a kennel. Pet Resorts did a great job of taking care of her. When I picked her up she was happy and clean. I would definitely take her back for my next out of town trip.

Good Stay - returning for the holidays

We just moved to the area and took our dog Lily there for a week. She loved it there and she is a very needy and highly anxious dog. They even sent us photos via email of Lily hanging out! We are definitely taking her back there for the holidays.

By the way, we live in Franklin, so it's about a 20-25 minute drive for us. Given the affordability as well as the quality of care, we don't mind a bit driving to their location.

Gracie LOVES Pet Resorts

I bring Gracie to Pet Resorts of America all the time and she loves it... She is a very energetic shep mix and they let her play with the other dogs. She has a really big run that she can go in and out in and when she comes home she is always happy and tuckered out. which goes well for me because after along trip its nice to come home with a relaxed dog so we can both take a nap...

Best kennel experience our 11 year old had

We were very happy with the services at Pet Resorts! Knightley did not have a pleasant experience with kennels before so we were very surprised how fast he took to the people at Pet Resorts. When we picked him up he was happy and very clean. The friendly staff certainly made him feel at home during our long absence. Can't thank you enough!

We love Pet Resorts of America and so do our 10(yes 10)dogs

After researching many kennels in the Nashville area we decided to try Pet Resorts of America and we are so glad we did. I was rather nervous leaving our gang but the staff was very reassuring, showed us a tour of the facilities which were very clean I might add and said I could call any time to check up on them which I did do a number of times. Our dogs came home smelling clean, they were happy and very relaxed. I am happy to say we will be back and our dogs have found their new home away from home.
