Like traveling back in time...

...to that farm where the zombies attacked in Night of the Living Dead. This place is utterly bizarre, from the haggard looking employees who do not appear as though they have ever seen the sun, to the mutant customers sitting on the washed out furniture or standing on the grease stained rug; this place almost has to be seen to be believed.

This family restaurant (aka, Diner) has a real Amish, Lancaster County feel to it, but not the good, quaint, Lancaster. It's more like that inbred, scary Amish, Lancaster. The food was below average, with the chicken on my sandwich being just large enough to cover half of the roll on which it was served. Service was pleasant, but not particularly competent. The pastry counter appears to have been stocked with cakes and pies from the local grocery store, as evidenced by the fact that they're not even smart enough to take the cakes out of the store packaging.

A one star rating is a bit harsh, I know, but other than the novelty/laugh factor, there is no real upside to walking into this place.

WOW

I'm watching a special on one of the fattest people alive. He lived down the street from wedgewood and went there every day. You do the math. Ive seen more appatizing things in my cat's litter box than wedgewood's meals. As a matter of fact, every time i clean my cat's litter box the smell of that disgusting omelette i had comes back to me. The cheesesteaks taste like stale dog food. I heard roomers that the employees are actually inbreads but im not really sure. Therefore, i strongly recommend you go to wedgewood!

Good food and cheap enough for a VCR repairman.

Great Choice!

To JBullets;

I am very sorry that you feel this way towards the restaurant that you have obviously never been to. If you ever decide to come out of your mom's basement except for to put in your 20 hours per week at the comic book store you might see that this is a very good restaurant with wonderful wait staff. And has nothing to do with the Amish community nor their food, despite your wild fantasy's with the Amish horses and mashed potatoes. Further more don't feel bad that your "real" internet girlfriend left you for a VCR repair man because he unlike you has a more promising future. If this review is insulting I apologize, I did not realize you can read.

Unlike Mr. Bullets I have been a patron of Wedgewood Farms for many years and find the wait staff to be exceptional. The food to be above average and atmosphere very pleasant. It is very insulting to desecrate a landmark in this community.
