The Scene
Offering ski-in access and a heated walkway to the lifts, this hotel appeals to a slopeside crowd that appreciates the extras of a luxury resort. The views of Gros Ventre Mountain Range are beautiful, and facilities such as the five-story Avanyu Spa give this place a definite edge, considering the starting rates.

Accommodations include 88 guest rooms and suites, as well as 42 condominiums. The room decor mixes exposed timber beams with goose down comforters and rich fabrics. Luxury Queen Rooms have fireplaces and CD players, while Junior Suites have hydrotherapy tubs and living areas with leather chairs. Two- and three-bedroom suites offer a more residential style, with full kitchens, master bedrooms and conveniences such as washers and dryers. The indoor/outdoor swimming pool is a knockout: With rough-hewn stone outcroppings and caves (which hold hot tubs), it's an idyllic sanctuary after a day on the slopes.
