Situated along picturesque Central Avenue, this old coffee shop's faded pink awning beckons locals--dressed both up and down. High wooden booths line the sides of the diner's two spacious rooms, with tchotchkes and Americana adorning the mismatched-wallpaper-covered walls. Start with fresh-squeezed, orange juice and choose from 20 kinds of pancakes, including Swedish, buckwheat, blueberry, banana, cinnamon raisin and buttermilk. Also popular: pigs in a blanket and fluffy egg-white omelets.
