Cuban restaurants in Miami ...there are lots of them.However, most are "lunchonettes" kind of places...not too appealing.

Cubano's could very well be, the missing restaurant Miami should have, but we have it right here in the Washington DC area, in the new Silver Spring.

Ambiance, food, family operated, ...ahh!!! and the smell!!!,...Cubanic aromas waving Caribeanly towars our gourmet capturing senses...(I don't usually talk this way),just try it!.

I particularly enjoy being surprised with the daily specials: Paella on weekends, garlicky Lamb chops (not gamy), terrific savory fish recipes, and a full menu of authentic Cuban cuisine.

So, just go tri it. If you like it like I do, tell afriend...we need more quality in this area like the jewel of Cubano's.

• Pros: Uniqueness, Good Food, best mojitos in the E
• Cons: Not big enough for la, it needs a larger bar, not good for diets.
