Dr. Heller is an exceptional Psychiatrist. He is a true professional, who makes every attempt to provide the best possible care for each of his patients. His accessibility, passion and drive,
ensure that he will provide the best possible treatment plan for you. I know of no other professional, who is willing to see patients on a Saturday or stay as late as he often does. Dr. Heller doesn't sugar coat or placate his patients, he offers his insight, experience and intelligence to his conversations, which is refreshing and important, as he works with a wide variety of patients, in various forms of crisis. Dr. Heller is exceptional in this day and age, when most psychiatrists dole out medication and do not take the time to understand what makes his patients act the way they do. His staff is as dedicated as Dr. Heller is, which is rare, they also compassionate and kind. Dr. Heller has been instrumental in helping me recover from some very serious, debilitating mental health disorders. Without him, I would not be here, to write this. No doctor is perfect, if you are seeking an intelligent, well-educated, compassionate doctor, then see Dr. Heller. If you seek a doctor, who will sit behind his desk and dole out medication and remain clinical, then see someone else. In this day and age of technology, Dr. Heller is an outstanding doctor and I highly recommend him.

Apology for Previous Review. I wrote a negative review for Dr. Heller in March of 2007. I was very angry at the time, and have since realized that the majority of what I wrote stemmed from my own issues. I still believe that he talks too much for a psychiatrist and that his offices do not offer privacy, but aside from that, he is a good doctor who seems to truly care about his patients and who strives to help them improve their lives. If there were a way for me to remove what I wrote over a year ago, I would! Do not hesitate to see Dr. Heller if you need help.…
Terrible Psychiatrist. Arrogant, inconsistent, difficult to contact, talks more than he listens, interrupts if he is actually listening, punitive with medication (may take it away at any time if you are not doing what he says). Do not see him for suboxone!…
