A lovely Sunday Brunch
by lizacat29 at Citysearch
There seem to be fewer and fewer places for a good Sunday brunch so we were happy to find this one. They have a well furnished buffet line with fruit, sweet breads, biscuits and gravy, wonderful eggs benedict and also a delicious potato casserole. They serve everyone a cinnamon roll at the table and these are good too, but not spectacular. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating, we took small children and they were welcomed and treated well. We have always gone in summer when we can sit out on their patio area which overlooks a nice little pond and garden with a couple of resident ducks. (There is a fence however, so you don't have to worry about little ones getting in the water.) The only thing lacking I would say is a little more shade. Only some of the tables have umbrellas. We have gone several times and consistently had a good experience and good food. The price is reasonable.
- Pros: Kid friendly, consistent quality
- Cons: Small outdoor area, get there early

I love their food, service was great, and they brew their own beer. I recommend trying this place out!
- Pros: good food
Good beer and food

Granite city is a good place that makes their own beer and its only $2 a pint. The service is good and so is the food. Good place to try.
Great home brews!

Granite City is the best in sports bar/restaurant food and homemade brews. Their Northern Light Ale is what I prefer and the food is fabulous. Definitely a good time with a big group of people or even just a date. On the deck in the summer is a must.
- Pros: Food, Parking
