Poorest Management Ever & Was Fired.... I lived at this residence almost going on four (4) years and this hired management was the worst yet! My sister and I asked her for a "lock from the inside" screen door as at least TWO other tenants had them already but no one else.

She said we can only have the hanging type or a retractable one. The hanging one does not keep insects from coming into the unit if one is living on the first floor.

We ended up telling this to the Fair Housing of Sonoma County because she did not tell the other two tenants to take theirs down (to be fair with the rest of us) so we reported her to F.H.of S.C. (Fair Housing of Sonoma County)

On that person's suggestion, she said to send her a letter about it and get back to her as to what happens.

This manager acted like she was shocked but she really wasn't because my sister and I both talked about this issue in her office to no avail. Months went by and those same two still had their screen doors up.

In the months that followed, she humiliated me on several occasions publicly in ear range of anyone else present that came down in the clubroom for coffee, chat, etc.

She treated some others the same way except for the tenants that did her bidding of this or that.

She even allowed another male resident there to viciously type a three page letter and give every resident there, (some 189 apartments) a copy at their front doors. All this because many people didn't like how he ran a supposedly "free food" program.

He goes through all the best food and other items FIRST, no one else can do this unless he allows it.

He still thinks it was only "two" disgruntled residents when in fact, more than several didn't like it. By the time he, the nasty manager, and some other staff got the goods, what was left over was pretty junky stuff!

This manager illegally charged tenants a cash payment of $80.00 for housekeeping.

My sister and I both paid by bond and can prove it.

Very Bad Management!. My Mother has had a great deal of problems since she moved out of Vista Sonoma Apartments. My Mother had purchased an Insurance Bond for the amount of $ 750.00. This Insurance bond will cover any damages, cleaning and repairs!

The Manager had lost my Mothers Insurance bond that she had on file at the office. The Manager had sent letters to my Mother on two different occasions in regarding to different debts upon her moving out! I have an Aunt that also purchased an Insurance Bond for the same amount! My Aunt had not received any charges from Vista Sonoma Apartment since she had moved out!

My Mother had talked to several managers and had explained to them that she has an Insurance Bond in the amount of $ 750.00. Their reply was in that case you do not have too worry about the charges. After all the strong facts and explaining herself to the Management, Vista Sonoma had turned in my Mother to a collection agency! The name of the collection agency is I.Q. Data International Inc. Their handle is Rent Collect Global Debt Management Services! My Mother is in her late sixties and has a Heart condition and she is under a great deal of stress due to Vista Sonoma?s lack of professional Management! If I were you I would not send my Loved one to a place called Vista Sonoma Apartments in Santa Rosa, California!
