Lots of fondue fun. Fun retro experience - I remember fondue from when it was really popular in the 70s. Great place to take kids since they can have fun with cooking it and the different sauces. The chocolate fondue is a great dessert.…
It's hip to dip at this cozy fondue-lover's paradise..
In Short
Booths equipped with tabletop fondue pots are clustered together inside the intimate dining room. Start with a cheese fondue, including an assortment of breads, veggies and fruits
for dipping. Entrees include lobster, center-cut filet, fish, chicken and vegetarian selections served with a variety of dipping sauces. For dessert, try the flaming turtle, a mix of chocolate and caramel flambéed tableside, served with nut-covered marshmallows, fresh fruit, pound cake, brownies and cheesecake.…
Romance is in the air. I have been a fan of this restaurant chain for years but haven't lived near a community that had one in a while. My family took me there as a birthday present. We were shown to our table immediately. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and our waitress was wonderful with the children (what an added bonus!) This particular location is not as upscale as many of the others I have been to but the quality was still impeccable. After a wonderful meal including balloons and roses, we were about to leave when all the power went out. The staff remained calm and professional and escorted us out with flashlights. I was very impressed with their 'take it in stride' attitude and this little glitch would not prevent me from going back. I understand that they will be moving to a new location at the end of the year. I look forward to going to check out their new digs. I hope an improved ambience will be added to the great food and service. This is a perfect special occasion restaurant.…
Best Personal Touch on Service.
My fiance had been asking me to go this restaurant for a long time, and I had yet to follow through. I heard it was expensive (which was wrong compared to the other places we go) and it seemed so
packed on the weekends - so we made a reservation finally.
She had been there before, and mentioned that the menu had just changed.
I thought the service was incredible - the best I've ever had. The server knew as much about wine as he did fondue, and was a local actor. The owner came by later in the meal to check on us, and we ended up talking about how much Greensboro has grown in the last several years. He grew up here and was excited to be where he is, doing what he is doing. He gave us our chocolate free because he said we were great people and he likes to take care of guests that are having the time of their lives. He said he was "honored that we spent that time at his restaurant." Try it. You'll love it, too.…
