I have been there three times over the past few years and have had average cuts and truly bad color jobs each time, always with a different stylist/colorist. While I'm sure there are a few excellent stylists at Doug's, the quality of the rank and file is substandard. The silly, snooty attitude and high prices just make the Hair Cuttery-quality work all the more irritating. Note - if you want the typical overprocessed, faux-blonde look with big chunky irregular pieces and unnatural color, the go for it - but if you want a color job that looks more like your favorite celeb, they definitely lack the talent at this salon and your color will just look cheap.
