Bad restraurant experience. Waitress had no personality. She brought the wrong drink to the table. She forgot to bring the bread. I ordered the Victoria Fillet cooked medium, got a different cut of meat well done. I told her it was not a fillet, she argued with me and said it was, but offered to bring another if my fillet was not acceptable. A long time later a fillet came to the table. It was obviously a different cut of meat from what was brought before--twice as thick and a different shape. By the time this piece of meat came I'd eaten my sides and my dinner companion was finished with his meal. I cut into my fillet and blood ran everywhere. It was cooked so rare it was actually completely raw on the middle. I touched the center and it was cold. The outside was almost burned. My dinner cost $40 and basically only consisted of mashed potatoes. When we left the bill was confusing because they charged us for the original meat and the raw fillet. I showed the manager how the second one was cooked and she said I should've let them cook it longer as if it was all my fault. I told her they should've gotten it right the first time, or at least the second time. Complaining in public is embarrassing. I will never go there again.…
A bit underwhelming.
I've eaten here a few times as I have some friends out in T.O. and I have to say, it is consistently disappointing. Everything about this place screams "gimmick", which isn't terribly surprising, but
there are good gimmicky places, and then there are "good enough" gimmicky places. This is one of the latter.
I enjoy rich food from time to time, but when I see my food swimming in an orange grease-sauce, I'm unimpressed. The steak I ordered was mediocre at best, and the sides were bland and uninspired. Basically, this is the sort of dining experience I would expect from a Chili's or Applebee's, but with an outrageous wait tacked on for good measure.
Overall, having a few beers and a Bloomin' Onion here with some friends isn't too bad of an idea, but for serious dining, avoid.…
Delicious, especially for the price. I have been to Outback Steakhouse many, many times and it is always consistent, service is always good and the food is excellent. Never a bad steak there and the Talapia seafood is a nice change too. Highly recommended by me and my friends. Also, try the chopped blue cheese salad instead of the house salad. yummmm…
Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor..
In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood
booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.…
ick and WOW. THey are selling a $.04 fried onion for how much? I cant believe the prices and the food is dry and unflavorful. I had been waiting to go to this place for a while and now I wont be going back at all.…
AWESOME FOOD. IF YOU WANT TO GET GREAT FOOD WITH ALL THE EXTRAS FOR A AWESOME PRICE, THEN OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE IS THE RESTAURANT TO GO TO! THE MEALS ARE PLENTYFUL AND TASTY. YOU CANT ENJOY A MEAL ANYWHERE ELSE FOR THEIR PRICES. PLUS THEY ARE ONLY OPEN FOR DINNER WHICH PROVIDES FRESHNESS IN EACH MEAL.…
10 best?. Don't get me wrong, the Outback isn't bad if you want predictability, average food, and 8 billion fat grams of fried onion. It's not on the top 10 in LA, though . . . . Not by a long shot.
Awsome place to eat!!!. even though the prices are a little high it's the only steak house I have found where you definately get what you pay for. The service is always great and they always work on pleasing you if your meal isn't prepared right.…
Best Value. I have been to several Outbacks and this one seems to consistantly have the better food. While the it may not be quite comparable to other restaurants on this list, neither are the prices. The quality and value tops most other "family restaurants." It is crowded though, so expect long waits and limited parking unless you go there early. It is also noisy.…
A lot of food. Outback provides a lot of food for the money but the quality has not kept pace with the popularity. Always busy. Get there early.
