Talk about wonderful upscale dinner dishes served with the lovely sarasota bay as the backdrop. The dinner choices at Marvista are anything but ordinary and the scenery is something out of a postcard. You couldnt imagine anything better then sitting on the deack eating freshly prepared seafood with the cool breeze blowing off from the water and the palm trees swaying. I highly reccommed this to anyone in the area.

Great Casual Dining

Great small restaurant. Fresh seafood, good portions and beautiful outdoor space. Be certain to reserve or you will be sitting inside and not enjoying the dock and bay views. Tuna was great as was Mahi. Waitress spilled my drink and had no intention of replacing it until I asked. Otherwise this was a kid friendly great dining experience.

• Pros: kid friendly, fresh seafood
• Cons: strange service, out of the way
