The Beachhouse is kinda a tourist restaurant but none the less it still has its advantages. The scenery is really lovely with the deck basically on the beach not to mention the dolphins jumping thru the gulf almost like they are paid performers. The food at the beachouse is average although not bad. They make some really good grilled or blackened fish sandwiches and the portions are pretty big. One of the advantages is they typically have live music in season which adds to the charm. I would reccomend it for a sandwich and good atmosphere but not for a fine dinner.

Great Place for the family

We have such a challenge finding nice places to eat where are kids are happy too. The Beachhouse has solved that problem. Our kids were able to hang out on the beach right in front of us while we got to spend some adult time together without having to constantly entertain our kids. With live music, fabulous food and great service we will definitely make this one of our regular stops.

Best drinks around, great crab cakes.

This is my favorite beach restaurant, in or out you can see the water. Dolphins frequent swim around the area. Their drinks are tasty. I have never had better crab cakes anywhere. Trying to get in during snowbird season after 5pm is a little difficult. We usually go at lunch or around 4-4:30 in order to get parked. In season you can usually see the sunset by arriving around 4:30. The seafood is better than the steak.
