I got snookered at Snooks. I have been to Snooks three times. The first time we were there, we waited for only about 20 mins. The food was average and the service was very slow. We ordered grouper and salmon and they were overcooked. On our second visit we did wait about 45 mins to an hour. They suggested that we sit at the bar and they would call us. I was not happy because there were tables open. I ordered the BBQ Ribs and my companion ordered the chicken breast prepared with pineapple. The ribs were fine but the chicken was overcooked. When we were able to find our waiter, we told him about the chicken and his response was 'sorry about that".

Since I usually give a restuarant three tries, I went again. This last trip was the worse treatment by staff I have ever encountered. We waited at the Host/hostess podium while the hostess was busy talking on the phone. She knew we were waiting but she continued to talk for at least a half hour. At this point we turned to leave and she came running after us to say she could seat us. Needless to say, we left.

I do not recommend this place. I have found better restuarants that at least care about their patrons.

Shame on us for giving them that third try.…

Great seafood, and plenty of boat parking. The Snook Inn is what Florida dinning is all about. Great food, live music, friendly service, tiki huts by the water and best of all you can sail your boat right up to the restaurant. Life doesn't get much better. The only problem is that thousands of people aggree with me. A two hour wait in season is just too long.

At the door it says if you made reservations...your in the wrong place!…
