When my husband and I lived in the area we would have lunch at Pete's at least once a week, sometimes more. We LOVED the pizza!

They have always been very courteous, and we never had any complaints with the food. Our only complaint was not enough room so we often had to wait for a table.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for some excellent, inexpensive, quick pizza in that area. My recommendation would be to try to miss the lunch rush so that you can find a seat.

NY style in all authenticity

Though it is in a standard Floridian mini mall, once you walk into Pete's Pizza, you can always see Pete rolling and spinning pizza dough along with his counterparts. The TV is blaring and the decorations lead you to the conclusion that you've just walked through a portal into an authentic NY pizza shop at an un-New York price (cheap). Not really a place you go and eat necessarily because the dining room is so small, but great for carry out. Pizza is excellent along with the antipasto.

• Pros: authentic NY by the slice or whole pie
• Cons: in an old mini mall
