Amazing!
by amcaveney at Citysearch
An absolutely amazing journey into Moroccan cuisine without leaving Delaware. I'm a Delaware native who has done traveling and I can honestly say that the food and service at Casablanca were outstanding. If you leave here hungry, it is your own fault! The food just kept coming and the waitstaff was absolutely delightful! The bellydancers were very talented and added so much to the experience. Each course is wonderful, but the baklawa at the end - really tops it all off! Nothing beats being able to eat with your hands and really dine in true Moroccan spirit !
- Pros: Inexpensive, Good service, Lots to see!

I recommend this place all the time. If you ask they will let you switch courses bwith the vegeterian menu. We usually switch the second course. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
Best Restaurant in Town
by sonofdawn at Citysearch
This is by far the best restaurant in the Wilmington, DE area. Excellent food, good prices for the food (I'm not much of an alcohol drinker, but I understand those prices are high) and great entertainment, I highly recommend going on the 1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month when the male belly dancer is there, he is really good. Good place to have a large group of people when dining out, but it can still be enjoyed by 1 or more people. The eggplant salad is out of this world, and the Bastilla, even though it's a main dish, is more like a dessert. Check out web coupons, or magazine coupons, or the Wilmington newspaper (Friday's 55hrs section) for great coupons for this restaurant too.
- Pros: Great Food, Great Entertainment, Good Price
- Cons: None
Awesome Place
by neuronix at Citysearch
I'm from Delaware and I love to go to this place when I head home. So much delicious food (come hungry!), good service, reasonably priced wine list, neat ambiance, and even some cheesy belly dancing on the weekend. It's $20/person for the 7 courses + $18/bottle or so for decent Morrocan wine. Overall, a great value in an otherwise ethnically devoid state. Also to try is their a la carte restaurant Ali Baba in Newark--the eggplant salad is amazing!!!!
- Pros: Lots of food, Yummy food, Good value
- Cons: Delaware
