Sadly I can only give the Willimantic Brewing Company - also called, by locals at least, the main Street cafe - 3 stars. It used to be at least a 4, and the beer selection still merits that, but the last couple times I've eaten here ?????? since management changed, I believe, or at least since the kitchen staff did ?????? the food was adequate at best.

I used to rave about their sandwiches, enjoy all the appetizers, and look forward to the specials, but the last items I ordered were prepared incorrectly, or poorly, or in the case of one appetizer, both.

The service is hit-or-miss, lately, as well. Some servers are pleasant and efficient, some neither, some one or the other. It's a crapshoot.

I wish that I could say better. This place used to be one of my favorites.

Simply the Best Bewery/Cafe'

WOW!!!!!!!!!! We came from Enfield and everyone from the owner, manager and chef treated us like royalty. The food, wine and beer were incredible. The owner and mananger suggested to us that on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday people call for reservations. I can understand why with the quality of food and beers they make and serve.

The nachos are a must have. Be careful it is a very large serving.

5 stars no question.
