The Main Street bakery is a tiny bake shop located in downtown aspen along the brick paved walkways. There is no room in the facility to eat, but there are a few picnic benches outstide. This place serves a great variety of pastries -- scones, rolls, and croissants. Among my favorite items on the menu is the warm ham and cheese croissant. The hot chocolate and coffe selection is pretty tasty too.
This local bakery on Aspen's main drag serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner to an animated crowd.

Tables full of locals, business people and wandering visitors pack this place during the crunch time. Portions are small but hearty, and the selection provides for light eaters seeking coffee and a danish or hungry folk who need skiing stamina. Lunch includes thick and filling soups and fresh-tasting salads and sandwiches served on homemade bread. Almost everything is heath conscious--all-natural turkey, dolphin-free tuna, organic greens--even the burgers are lean.
