Fred Segal is the best shopping experience ever. I love going in there and dreaming about what I want buy. They have a wide range of brands and price ranges. If you're hungry there is a cafe and parking is easy. Go check out shopping heaven!
Pros: Best Selection
Cons: Expensive, if that's a con

Love this store but it is just too expensive. Also since it is a bunch of designers in a clothing mini mall you never get any personal attention.
Pros: Good selection
Cons: Bad Service, Pricey

I lived and grew up in L.A. and Fred Segal used to be the place, however it has turned into a mega metro-sexual Bedouin Bizarre (concerning Men's). Let's get one thing straight folks... Fred Segal is a mishmash of independent small stores, not a big store. As a local I rate it average, there are better places to go.
Pros: Great locations
Cons: Too expensive and not enough variety

Fred Segal is the best place for everything you need- trendy clothes, makeup, acessories, everything! The sale is the best time to go (but it gets really crowded)- great deals on almost everything! I agree the customers can be a bit snotty, but the people who work there are great. I rarely shop anywhere else!

I was a bit apprehensive about going in after reading reviews about snooty sales people, but I had such a good time, I changed my plans so I could come back the next day. Everyone was really nice (it was the customers who were snarky) and helpful and wrapped even the smallest purchase as if it were a special gift. The bead place has great findings and a HUGE variety. Budget at least an hour if you're going to make something there. Great variety of unique handbags, clothes, and especially jewelry. If I win the lottery, this is the first stop.
Pros: variety, parking, nice salespeople
Cons: pricey!

I was a little worried about going to Fred Segal for my over due Brazilian wax, I usually wait til Im in NY I'm not one of those "appointment sluts" (ladies who book random appointments) so I wasnt worried about being charged for not showing up, it's great to know a skin care therapist will be there when I arrive. It's not cheap, but it's worth every dime. The room was the cleanest on this coast in the lobby I relaxed to a complimentary oranges and Evian water wine was also avail but liquor and waxing dont mix.The expirience; heavenly.Never has my brazilian been so smooth, fast and painless. The gal who gave me my Brazilian isEPIC!! When I saw that Kate Beckinsdale was walking out of her room I knew I was in the right place, when she was done I promised my bikini I would never go elswhere
Pros: Clean, Fast, Painless
Cons: Movie Stars

Let me warn all you first timers to the little tricks that Fred Segal Beauty Salon has up it's sleeve. I had made an appointment to Fred Segal Beauty Salon to get my hair cut and highlighted. I had forgotten to call and cancel my appointment and the next day I was charged $275!!!! Don't make the same mistake as I did, just avoid Fred Segal Beauty Salon all together.
Cons: , Expensive, Expensive
