Serving what are arguably the best hamburgers in the Juneau Borough, the Douglas Cafe is a quaint eatery in an historical building in what some refer to as "the People's Republic of Douglas", a town across the Gastineau Channel from Juneau.

• Cons: crowded, difficult to find, parking a challenge
