EJ 588 is a great salon. I love getting my haircut with EJ - she is very professional and always on time. I never feel rushed and my hair looks great when I leave. Erica also takes the time to continually improve her skills and stay up-to-date on the latest haircuts. Appointments are a must, as her calendar fills up quickly.

Sonoma's Best-kept Secret

The result of applying Feria-41 Crushed Garnet (Loreal product) was disastrous, leaving me with a bright beet-top. Planning to be in Italy for 3 weeks, I had to find an expert to fix the problem. I phoned EJ-588 and spoke with Erica who told me she wasn't taking new clients but referred me to another stylist, Frauka. Frauka

worked into the evening to neutralize and then color my hair correctly. Frauka's product knowledge and color-correction expertise saved me. She was amazing and I was impressed with how she turned such an unpleasant situation into one that I will enjoy over the holiday. I spent several hours with Frauka and found her to be very kind and genuine - as well as a perfectionist! I believe it was a God send that I went to EJ-588 in Sonoma. Thank you! - and thank you, Frauka!

The best of the best!

I have been a client of EJ's for 12 years now. She inspired me so much that I went to beauty school a year after meeting her. As a client and a professional in the industry, I have to say she is one of the best. Wether you are looking for a cut, style, color, highlight, perm, straightening or Great Lengths hair extensions she has it all mastered. She does continue her education every year with some of the most talented stylists in the Country.

Ej does book up quickly. So if you cant get in with her just know all of the stylists at the salon have many years of expereince. You would be in fantastic hands with any one of them.

Haircuts for Life!!!

I've been going to Erica Jo to get my hair cut since I moved to California many years ago. Her salon, EJ 588 is definitely the best salon I have ever gone to. It's a pleasant and friendly environment where talented hair stylists not only ply their trade, but also manage to keep up with the latest trends by attending styling seminars, conventions and the like. I doubt there has ever been a customer less that fully satisfied -- no, make that "completely delighted"! Highy recommended. And be sure to make an appointment well in advance -- I think the word is out ;-)

• Cons: Due to heavy bookings, "Spur of the moment" is hard -- but then, didn't you know your hair was gonna need cutting?!
