John Ash put this small, European-style hotel on the map when he opened his acclaimed restaurant here in 1992. Ash has left the property, but the restaurant and hotel remain. They sit in the middle of 90 acres of vineyards, perched on the flatlands not far from Highway 101. These manicured grounds are popular with wedding parties hosting up to 125 guests.

The Details
The hotel is comprised of four separate buildings, each covered in red tile. Its 44 guest rooms are furnished with European antique pine pieces, as well as voicemail and data ports. French doors open onto tiled patios, and special touches include bathrobes and nightly turndown. Secretarial and business services are also available.
