Great Food at a High Price
by DrMagikgas
This is a wonderful place, the food is excellent and the staff friendly. The prices are high but well worth it.
Great place to watch people. If it was more resonable we would eat there more.
- Pros: Good Food, Fast
- Cons: Parking, High Prices
BEST BURGERS IN THE WORLD BAR NONE
by hamburgerhelper
I grew up in Philly (land of the cheese steak) and lived in New York and then L.A. and San Francisco over the next 30 years. I've eaten hamburgers from coast to coast and no burger I ever ate was as delicious, fresh, tender and tasty as Tyler's. Everything is prepared fresh that day including fresh ground high quality beef, fabuloso, heavenly rich and creamy cole slaw and potato salad. No left over grease for their fries. FRESH, FRESH, FRESH and delicious. And, YES, the service is slow, but if you're looking for fast....go to McDonald's. If you want the very best of the best and don't mind the wait for high quality burgers and all the fresh sides, then TYLER'S is the place you've been looking for. And they put out fresh cold water for pets.
For all you in a hurry people, there's a McDonald's and Burger King just blocks away. I'm sure they'll serve you up some greasy prototype burgers real fast. LOL.
- Pros: FRESH, FRESH, FRESH QUALITY FOOD PREPARED F-R-E-S-H EACH DAY
- Cons: Always a line and serivce is sluggish, but well worth the wait.
Avoid unless you like punishment
by restaurantfinatic
While the food is comparable to anything out there the service leaves much to be desired. The servers help those who they feel will tip them well while ignoring everyone else. The bus staff seems to be a bit more helpful than the owner. If you are looking for a place to waste time dont mind the heat and slow service give tylers a try, Otherwise avoid it like a bad cold. They have frys that are greasy buns that are hard and the meat is undercooked while keeping the grease to drip off like ice cream on a hot summers day. This place should be sold to someone who wants to live up to the hype about the name because its so bad its just a shame.
- Pros: A great location to people watch
- Cons: Bad food bad service high prices over greasy not worth its name.
HORRIBLE SERVICE
by shblythe
Visited here in April 2007. After waiting in line, we were finally seated and then totally ignored by our server. She passed us several times waiting on other customers and never even acknowledged us. The busser kept coming back asking if we had been helped. We told him 'No', and then saw him go to the server and tell her to help us. She walked by and said she would be right with us, but never came. She tended to her gay customers who were seated after us wonderfully. They got lots of attention and great service. I don't know what her problem was, but after 30 mins. we got up and left. We went down the street to the Kaiser Grille and had a delicious meal and absolutely phenomenal service! We came back to Tyler's and spoke with the owner. She seemed concerned and offered us a free meal, but we were on our way out of town. I can't comment on the food since we never got to taste it, but we will never return due to the tall blonde.
Fantastic sliders
by eliset
Order a giant burger, or surprisingly thick sliders with grilled onions, a side of slaw and a chocolate shake for a truly memorable meal. Friendly, smiling waitstaff and a welcoming owner make you feel at home. They also have beer, an added bonus for a burger stand.
- Pros: Uncompromising quality, delicious food and friendly service
- Cons: Can get really crowded. Closed on Sundays.
Famed burger stand serves up the tastiest patties in Palm Springs, if not the world.

The Scene
Only open for lunch, this former bus depot now serves up burgers to hordes of hungry locals and curious tourists. Inside, a counter offers a few stools, but most folks stand in line to score a table on the patio. To keep diners cool during the hot months, Tyler's provides misting machines, but an icy glass of homemade lemonade will usually suffice.
The Food
Tyler's makes its famous burgers using fresh, high-grade beef. The thick and intensely juicy patties are topped with cheese or chili, then gently set between two impossibly light, freshly baked buns. Indulgent, yes, but even actress/thigh mistress Suzanne Somers is a regular and even has her own signature bun-less creation. Vegetarians get the obligatory gooey garden patty made with brown rice and cheese. Whatever you order, be sure to side it with a small bowl of cole slaw--crisp cabbage bathed in a light sweet cream sauce that zings with black pepper.

Best Restaurant.......you gotta be kidding. Best hamburger stand...no...."great hamburger stand" but it's not the "best restaurant." The user rating that follow is for the "hamburger stand" catagory.
- Pros: convenient, good value, good hamburger stand
