Worth Every Penny!. We LOVE it here. We're in the area during the summers and this place is beautifully situated on the bay. The dining room is elegant and comfortable with plenty of room between tables so you can focus on your food and your companion. Service is friendly and relaxed. You won't be rushed out here! The food is classic and delicious French with unusually generous portions. In between courses, the wonderful chef sends out little "offerings" of the most heavenly tasting bites. And just when you think you can't eat another bite...the signature chocolate dessert is a religious experience and must not be skipped! Save up your money and bring your appetite. You won't be disappointed.

Expensive and worth twice the price!. The tasters menu paired with the wine is expensive but worth twice the price. The small portions and 1/3 glasses of wine with each course was the perfect amount. Just as we were savoring the last drop of wine the next glass and course came out. The Hudson Valley Duck Foie Gras was the most amazing thing I've ever tasted. I love pate de foie gras but have had sauteed foie gras in an excellent resturant and was not impressed. My dining partner hates liver of any kind...so I was worried. I don't know how they got that amazing flavor infused throughout the entire slice but they did. No hint of that tinny aftertaste you get eating liver...sheer perfection. The red snapper earns it's place as one of the favorites...covered in what looks like scales...really paper thin rounds of potato brushed with butter and browned just enough to give you a delightful crunch yet as thin as it is, it's not all crunch...magical. Some of the wine choices I thought strange (red wine with snapper) until you take that first sip after your first bite of the given course....nirvana. The wait staff must be required to be psychic...just as you think of them there they are...attentive without being overbearing. The timing between courses was perfection. After the first two courses, all I could think about was that commercial "We're eating elf food" and wondered if we would be hitting 7-11 afterwards....not so. So much food we ended up bringing the last course home as we just couldn't eat another bite. I have never personally paid this much for a meal...I left there grateful that they allowed me to eat there for that price. An experience everyone should have at least once.

Relax and enjoy!. This place is what I call a great restaurant: great food, exceptional service, relax but still quite high class atmosphere. And the view overlooking the sea makes you feel hundreds of miles from NYC. We spent a great time with you. Thanks!
