Stressful shopping, avoid on weekends
by doll83
June 25, 2008
Even though the Mall has everything, and every brand a shopping maven desires, the sheer shopping experience is pretty stressful- especially on weekends. The purpose of my visit was to buy a perfume.
There are a few perfume outlet stores, however the prices are not very different from those in regular stores.
Shopping can be pretty stressful there, as the mall is huge, you have to walk a lot and often it takes time until you find the desired joint.
- Pros: diversity
- Cons: busy, huge and confusing

To my understanding, this is an outlet mall. I expected that to mean low-priced wares. While there is indeed an impressive variety of stores and shops, the prices are no lower than any other mall I've visited. In addition, this mall seems to be the only one in the area, so the youth hang out there as most high school students do. This doesn't diminish the shopping experience, it enhances it. While I'm paying full-price for jeans and shirts, it helps to be able to smile and reminisce about my own youth. I suppose that balances everything out.
- Pros: LOTS of parking
- Cons: Crowded
tons of shoe stores

This is a very large outlet. There are tons of shops to find shoes, and they have a wide variety of clothing stores. It's in a convenient spot and their store hours are great. There's always parking and the mall is very clean. It can get very busy around the holidays.
- Pros: lots of parking
Save on everything from housewares to designer shoes at this family-friendly Inland Empire mall.

In Short
Nearly an hour outside the city in the rural heart of the Inland Empire, this mall features a staggering collection of stores from Hugo Boss to Old Navy, a 30-screen multiplex and more than 20 restaurants like kid-magnet Dave and Buster's. The Off 5th-Saks Fifth Avenue outlet alone is worth the drive--browse through the countless racks of Calvin Klein coats, Max Studio separates and Anne Klein suits that can be found for 50 to 70 percent off retail.
Not as Much as it Appears!

It looks huge, but not much here. I live closeby and know this mall well. I'm 27, this mall mainly caters to teens because most clothing stores have that young/cheap style, a Virgin Mega music store, two large arcade places, a skateboard park, and an AMC 30 theatres, then there's an Edwards 22 theatres on the same side right outside the mall. There's hardly anything if you want quality clothing. Prices are pretty good, food court selection is ok. Dave & Buster's restaurant has best food. Only good department store is Off 5th. If I didn't live so close, I'd never go here again. The mall goes in one circle, so if you just walk around & back where you started, you won't miss anything. Two stores connect through to the other side of the mall if you don't feel like walking the whole thing.
- Pros: easy to navigate, teenagers will love
- Cons: crowded parking, not for all ages, mostly cheap stuff

First of all, navigation is a piece of cake. I really don't understand why someone would get the slight bit confused in this mall. The fact that the mall is one huge loop makes it easy to start at one point, and then end up back at your car at the end of the day. Mega-store Virgin provides a path right through the middle of the loop making it easy to access the food court on the other side. The mall is seperated into 10 neighborhods making it even easier to locate shops and where you started from. As far as store selection goes, it has just about all you could need under one roof!
- Pros: Great Food Court, 30 Screen Movieplex, Rainforest Cafe!!
- Cons: Not really Outlets
Not all that...........

First of all, it is very difficult to navegate your way around there. The entire mall is a huge circle, and it's labeled sections 1-10. So if you're in section 5, there's no shortcut back to section 1. You have to just keep walking and walking........second, the prices are just the same as regular malls, the only difference is that this mall carries JUNK as compared to the regular malls. Third, these's very few selections in the food court. Fourth, it's LOUD as heck inside. Fifth, it gets so crowded. I drove a good hour to go check it out. I was disappointed.
- Pros: lots of shops
- Cons: bad selection, loud, crowded
good for families

This place is supposed to be an outlet store, but most of them are just the same price as the regular ones. But its a good place to take the kids, they have Edward's, AMC and Imax theatres. If you get hungry I recommend Rainforest Cafe...kids would love it! and if you're looking for a great haircut try Angle's salon.
- Pros: good parking
