Love it!

I really enjoy going to Rainforest Cafe. The first time I had ever gone to one was in Disney World. I was so happy when one came to Michigan! I like the themed setting and the service is great. The food is also wonderful.

This cartoon jungle is a child's wonderland, with waterfalls, swinging monkeys and a canopy of faux flora and fauna.

In Short
While waiting for a table, hungry diners prowl the retail village, where cash-register ka-chings compete with chirping birds, roaring lions and chest-thumping gorillas. When the lights start to flicker, never fear--thunderstorms are part of the show. The menu is American comfort food--pastas, burgers, pizzas and salads--served with a tropical flair. There are plenty options that the kids will recognize, but enough novelty to keep the parents happy.

Every visit has been memorable. Great place for kids due to the theme. Food is away from the ordinary and well prepared. Prices were reasonable.(Had a 50.00 gift cert. for 3 people and we didnt use it all)

I love this place!

by enchantedragon at Citysearch

My kids and I went here because I won a contest on the radio station. I instantly fell in love with this place!

The service was exceptional and the food....while it is only burgers, pizza, wraps, and nuggets (that we had anyway) was very yummy!

I love the atmosphere and everytime you look around there is something new to discover.

If you have children (or just want to experience something new) I recommend the RainForest Cafe! We will be going again soon!

They say to compare apples to apples in the guidelines but.......this place is so unique that there is nothing to compare it to!! =)

  • Pros: Family friendly, Great service, So much to see and do
  • Cons: NONE

Kids? Yes!

by tartufato at Citysearch

Got kids? Having trouble finding a place to eat that you can actually eat at yourself? This is it. No, the foods not great, kinda average. But it should at least keep the kids interested long enough so you can finish your dinner for a change. Maybe overpriced for what the food is. Kind of a Disney feel.

  • Pros: Entertaining

An excellent choice when dining with children. Lots of visuals to keep them occupied.

Don't go for the Food!

by loby at Citysearch

Emeril isn't hiding behind all of the elaborate Rainforest decorations, but by the prices on the menu you would think so! Quality of food is BAD! And it is incredibly expensive! However, if you have children, this is a must visit restaurant at least once! Every time we visit Great Lakes Crossing, this is my daughters first pick of places to eat! They do have it decorated beautiful, very unique and worth seeing...ONCE!

  • Pros: Beautifully Decorated, Unique , Kid Friendly
  • Cons: Expensive, Food is bad, Crowded

Dine in the Rainforest!

by JH33194 at Citysearch

Rainforest Cafe has the Ambience, food and service of a top knotch restraunt without the super high prices.

We ate there a few times and every time we are impressed.

You can go to a regular higher class restraunt and pay the same price and not get the same exotic feeling you get here.

The food is great and the things to see are wonderful.

  • Pros: Great prices, Wonderful for kids, great food
  • Cons: none
