One of the best (and only) places to catch indie films in the Hamptom Roads area. Great old world theater; large screen and seating area, excellent sound.
Historic theater alternates between quality first-run movies, cult faves and independent cinema.

This movie theater in the Ghent section of downtown Norfolk is reputedly among the oldest theaters on the East Coast. Since the early 1970s, it has functioned as the art house and revival theater in the funky neighborhood. First-run cinema is sprinkled in with a program of independent, foreign and limited-release features. The old-fashioned single-screen theater has a 70mm screen, Dolby stereo sound and comfy seats.
