My friend and i recently went to lather and we both a actually loved our hair cut !!! Lisa was very open to hearing what I was saying but suggested a completley different look and it did look better for my face shape. My friend was thrilled with her results from her stylist also, everyone was laughing and having aq good time, grat vibe to be in. I felt like I was at a friends house with girl time. Very casual and comfy. It is small and intimate without all the wanna be glam snotty feel I get from other shops. I surf and my hair was dry and my stylist did a moisture treatment on my hair to bring out the cut. its been a while since someone cared so much of what I thought . im a student and budgeting so she sent me home with samples(thanks again) . I will tell all my friend s... lather way cool man

I have been to a bunch of shops around town and have had bad color, awful cut, stuffy environment . I went to lather and had them fix the old screwed job from another salon. The gals there were friendly and the shop is funky and kitchy . I love my haricut and was offered chocolate and wine YUMMIE!!!!! I have found my new favorite salon The owner sierra is a doll and I have booked with Lisa again next month !!!

Pros: fun ubeat stylist

Cons: loved it

I have gotten my hair done at numerous salons and I could never find anyone who understood what I wanted they would always do what they believed looked good. For the first time I have found a salon where I feel comfertable and confident the sylist will do what they're asked to do. Lathers new location is smaller then the old place on seabright , but it is really cozy and inviting. The staff was really nice and hospitable. I recomended this salon to all of my friends, and I recomend it to anyone looking for a good salon. Great color, cuts and styling everytime I've been.

Pros: Great friendly people, amazing experience

Cons: shop is a little hidden

I have been to many Salons in the last 25 years and this was by far the worst hair experience I have ever had!! The person was late to start, that I can forgive for a great hairdresser, if they are indeed great. The environment is kind of white trashy. It is small and tackily decorated, it seems like a whole in the wall with a coat of color to make it look new. The hairdresser I had was unorganized and intense. My hair came out alright, the color looks good but I didn't get a hair cut cuz we ran out of time and I just didn't want to be in that building any longer. My hair was not shampooed properly leaving it stiff and sticky. I had to go home and re-wash my hair that still had color in it. I am surprised that Lather hasn't tried to better their look; I went to the original Lather when it first opened and the environment was retro, fun, exciting, full of life- this new shop is dark, dank, miserable and uncomfortable. My search for a new hair dresser continues.

This was the worst haircut experience of my life, next to that one disaster at Supercuts. I paid about $45 to have this young punk "aspiring DJ" guy cut my hair, and he answered his cell no less than five times while he was working with me. I don't think my cut was worth that, but more importantly, it certainly was not worth it to be sitting there feeling anxious about having my hair cut by someone who seemed to be paying VERY little attention to me! Uhg. I would never go back there, and I'm kind of surprised it's still around (that was 3 years ago).
