Great Place, Great Massage, busy reception, Horrible manicure

Hello!

Well first off, their prices are GREAT. It's so nice to give a certificate to their salon (have twice) but things are not always great....

The building itself is really cool! Kudos for that.

I have gotten a massage twice. The massage gal was FANTASTIC - if this review was only about her she'd get a 5 star rating!

Reception is always too busy to help. Give you a hard time if you don't have your gift card even though at the previous (first) appointment they made a HUGE deal about their automated system and how great and integrated the computer is and this and that and if you forget it, they have you covered.

I was left for 45 mins in the middle waiting area. No one followed up with me, got me water, and I had to find out what the deal was and then the massage lady came out.

Manicure I got was awful and I took the polish off the next day.

The Scene
Like a sorority house before a big formal, these rooms are bustling and fully dedicated to women looking their best. The spa waiting area has signs encouraging silence near the oversized recliners, but giggles and conversation are the rule. Once taken to your candlelit private room and given a plush robe and massaging slippers, the mood calms and relaxation begins.

The Services
Pass on the hydrotherapy tub; between lasting bruises from the water jets and the extra-long tub length that prevents smaller folk from truly relaxing, other services are a better bet. Aveda aromatherapy massage is fantastically relaxing and impressively skillful, leaving you utterly limp. The spa pedicure is a luxurious treat, including cozily heated recliner chairs and a leg and foot massage along with standard care.
