love it! by vici m. at InsiderPages

We have been here several times and always love it. The rooms are beautiful and the restaurants wonderful. Beautiful golf course, gorgeous location. You can also visit the natural hot spring crater here. They do scuba lessons in it or you can just swim in it for an hour for $10. Lots of fun!

PROS: so worth the cost!

CONS: somewhat high prices

They could not handle a table of nine.

I went for their Sunday brunch. They had plenty of empty tables (at least 5 empty) but they couldn't seat our table of nine and suggested their Fanny's resaurant instead.

We went to the Blue Boar instead for their brunch. What a great brunch at the Blue Boar! I'll be going to the Blue Boar every time I'm in Midway instead of Simons'.

A colonial homestead expanded for corporate and leisure travelers.

The Scene
More than 100 years ago, this resort's mineral hot spring crater was its main attraction. Now, championship golf, tennis, horseback riding and 12,000 square feet of flexible conference space complement this natural wonder. You can enjoy the ultimate in modern resort luxury or travel back to a more leisurely era, when days were spent playing croquet, horseshoes and shuffleboard.

The Details
Guest rooms, condominiums and homes come in an eclectic mix of sizes, although many are a bit on the tight side. Styles range dramatically, as well, from vintage Victorian to ranch. Executive suites and cottages boast their own outdoor entrances. Enjoy a steak fireside at Simon's Restaurant, or indulge in a massage or mineral bath at the resort's Aveda Concept Spa.
