Great Resteraunt. When I arrived I was met at the door by a smile. I was asked if i would like smoking or non. I almost walked out because of the smoke, But the cheerful little blonde said she could sit me far away from the smoke and that she would take care of my bill at the table so i would not have to stop by the smoking area to pay. The CHICKEN FRIED STEAK WAS VERY GOOD. It had just the right amout of batter, and was tender. The portion however was too much so I got a doggie bag. It is hard to find all of the elements of good service in this town. If you get good food usually you get lousy service. I was impressed with my food and service at Skillets. My husband and I have since eaten there many times after work when I do not want to cook. We have not been there for breakfast yet but it is on our list. I hope it is just as good as our dinner was.…
