Best Place to Entertain in Waco. Whether its large parties of 15, to even 55 , Diamondbacks have two different private rooms that help when I need to do a business presentation, or am entertain many guests for one of my wifes lovely dinner parties. They also have a secluded "elevator" room that accomates up to ten or so, which is great for entertaining business clients from out of town. I also dine here even if its just me an my wife for a romantic night or my old buddies catching up. Diamondbacks is there for anything we need with great steaks and wine, and of course they have the a wide selection of beer, but most importantly for my wife, a wide selection of white wine and martinis. She loves the Pineapple Express signature martini. I usually order the bison ribeye, or their asian style sea bass. New menu rocks!!!. The managment and staff have clearly put this restaurant above all else in Waco! The lobster tacos and certified angus beef filet oscar are best bite in town. Clearly worth the money! Thanks for a great experience…
Best Fine Dining Around. DBs is Waco's best kept secret. I dont mind paying good money for good food and service. Only place like that in Waco is Diamond Backs. Its not pretentious or fake. Service is quiet, but spot-on. The wine list is as good as any in the Dallas area and their staff backs it up with knowledge about the wines. Table side flambes, incredible hand-cut steaks (cooked correctly) and fresh seafood cooked simply. I think occasionally they have a little jazz combo band playing in the bar and they recently instituded a special menu for a 4-7 Happy Hour that includes sushi and kobe beef sliders for 3.00!! Their sushi is the second best kept secret in Waco.…

As soon as you are seated, you are greeted by and made feel welcome by your server. The restaurant is known for its steaks but you cannot go wrong with any of its other entrees. The Seared Atlantic Salmon was made to perfection! If you do not know which bottle of wine to order, feel free to ask your server, for they are all trained to have an extensive knowledge of wine.
Though at first you might be taken back by its price, it only takes a few moments to realize that the food, service, atmosphere, and experience is worth every cent and more! You cannot beat Diamond Back's.…
