Great food at reasonable prices! – We recently moved in to a home off HWY 317 in Temple. We found this place by accident. I highly recommend it for those who are comfortable in down home, no frills surroundings. I have tried several of the items on the menu so far and everything has been good. I especially recommend the chopped beef barbecue. You can order it as a sandwich plate or on a platter with sides. It has that old fashioned flavor - some of the best I have found in this area. They also sell it by the pound for take out and it is great to take home for sandwiches later.
Fry Daddy – Alright here's the deal, it's not anything more than a typical fry daddy restaurant. There is no Seafood as Denise wrote, unless you consider fried shrimp. There is very limited seating. Anyway beer is cheap and cold; that's were Chucks gets its points. Other than that don't make it out to be more than it really is.
best homemade food ever – great selection on menu, alot of food for the price, not just b-b-q, but steaks, seafood, ect.
