Friendly Service & Fantastic Food

Having tried many other Chinese restaurants in the mid cities area, I can honestly say this one takes the cake. Driving by its certainly a diamond in the rough, but worth a try whether in person or via delivery. I'm so addicted that I order delivery from them once a week. The sweet owner guy even knows me by my voice which in this day and age is a welcomed pleasantry. The delivery is super fast and always hot. The food, 99% of the time is perfect, and even when less than perfect it's still fantastic.

The sweet and sour sauce chicken is the best and is typically amazing, especially when the sauce is very thick and and extra flavorful. My only complaint would be that while given a lot of chicken, the vegetable is usually lacking, only being given a few little shreds of green pepper and onions. Were they to bump that up and maybe add some pineapple, then it would just be unbeatable. The orange chicken is great too and they have the best crab rangoons I've possibly ever had. They're small, but perfectly blended!

The portions are typical for a Chinese place giving a lot. I'm able to split a dinner portion with a friend and we both like to eat a lot when we have Chinese. Always tastes great! I highly recommend this place for its friendly service and fantastic food!

i have been going there with my husband for 5 years now and i have never had any bad food... the egg drop soup is amazing and my husband loves the combo fried rice. We eat there at least bi -weekly and you never have to wait long for anything.... just about the time you finish your soup the main course is there... i am looking forward to taking my dad there soon... also if you like this place you will love los majecties... cant spell but its the mexican food place in the albertsons parking lot at beach and western center.... there food is great also

Our favorite Chinese food in DFW!

We've been dining at Haltom Chinese for about 20 years and haven't found better Chinese food anywhere in the DFW area. The family of owners are friendly and welcoming. The wait staff are gracious and responsive, in fact they know our order by heart. Our picky kids like it. It is a place our large family likes to gather for special occasions. We highly recommend Haltom Chinese.
