Good to hear they're still around.

I relied on Hond-Auto to take care of my repairs on my 89 CRX and 92 Prelude. Every time I went, they had a detailed run down of what they found and what was recommended to fix the problems. At the time getting a timing belt/water pump change was the cheapest around by at least $200. Its first-come, first-serve basis so drop off the car early if you want it done that day. Otherwise it's usually done by the following day.
- Pros: Great service, best price around.
- Cons: No longer close to me
Very Pleased

I'm a skeptic. I hate insurance salesmen, car salesmen, cell phone companies, and mechanics. HOWEVER, these guys were less expensive than the other three places I called, and they got the job done in a day. (I brought the car in late, and got the call back by 1on the next business day.) Most important to me was that instead of giving me a song and dance about additional work that I need to have done to my car at some outrageous price, they just made some suggestions on the receipt - and they weren't even suggestions for more work. Just things like "sludge on the rocker means more frequent oil changes are needed." I would have given them 5 stars, but since I've only been once, I wanted to leave some room to move.
- Pros: Not trying to rip you off
- Cons: Not the prettiest place I've ever been
Best mechanics for Honda, Acura, Toyota. They are honest and save you tons of money.

I've been taking my car to Hond-Auto for years. They have saved me tons of money on repairs. Often a dealership will recommend an expensive repair. I get the real scoop from Hond-Auto. Often, I find out that an expensive repair is not needed. The mechanics are honest and trustworthy. They don't try to talk you into something you don't need. They have suggested to me on numerous occassions ways to optimize repairs and associated costs. For example, I had a broken motor mount. The mechanic told me and showed me that it wasn't serious and to save labor costs, he recommened that I combined this repair with replacing the timing belt. They said it could wait until it was time to replace the timing belt. That's honesty! While there, I have run into many other customers who are also thrilled to have honest mechanics.
