Lush gardens, poolside seating and a wandering mariachi trio make the atmosphere at this popular Mexican food restaurant more important than what is served for dinner. Trees, ferns and a thicket of beautiful flowers create a peaceful scene, a backdrop for the fun atmosphere of the outdoor seating area.
The Food
For dinner, this Fort Worth Mexican-food staple offers two choices: cheese enchiladas or fajitas. Servings come family style. The freshly prepared food comes in courses. Order cheese enchiladas and look forward to a nacho appetizer, fresh quacamole and small meat-and-lettuce tacos. Sizzling fajitas come in the beef or chicken variety. There's more selection at lunch. Lunch items include flautas, chili rellenos and a tamale entree.

As Rachel Ray would say "Yuucco"! This place was decent in the 60's and 70's. Now it is just a tourist trap and place to be seen. The food and service are both quite inferior to almost any other Mexican food in FTW. The prices are just ridiculously high for food that tastes like a Patio TV dinner. Margaritas are good. Have to give them that. Guess if you get the sheep drunk enough they won't notice that the cat is no longer around and tamales are ready. Try almost any other Mexican food restaurant or tortillaria . They will all trump this slop. La Playa Miya, Caro's, Uncle Julio's, Taco Bueno, any of them will give you a lot better food and at least act glad to see you. Also located in a very dangerous neighborhood to be Gringo, Latino, or any non gan g banger in after dark.

I love Joe Ts. Great Atmosphere. Great Service. Sometimes it has a long wait but it is worth it. I order the enchiladas. I am not too crazy about the fajitas but they are ok. The family style side dishes are excellent. Good Guacamole. Love the beans and rice. Last but not least are the cheese nachos that automatically come with the enchilada plate. (not the fajitas) This is a place you must visit. Though the mixed drinks are seriously great....they are expensive compared to decent price on the food.

Joe T's is AMAZING! If you go, expect to wait in line, but if your with a group of friends, go get a pitches of margaritas to drink while your in line! You wont regret it! People keep saying their food isnt good, but it IS!!!. Their fajitas are AMAZING! Joe T's is known for their awesome atmosphere and their GREAT MARGARITAS! I cant stress how good the margaritas are. Get it on the rocks! Best margarita of my life!!!!!

When to Go:
For a seat outside in springtime, expect long lines to stretch around the block. Come early and get a beer or margarita from the outside bar to pass the time.
Where to Sit:
On a nice evening, the garden is an inviting retreat from the indoors, but be advised that smoking is allowed on the patio.
