Awesome Pizza Hut – I have been all over the country in my years and moved to Jacksonville several years back and love this Pizza Hut. The managers are very helpful and courteous. They must be doing something right because that place is always busy. Sometimes I have to wait for my food, but well worth it. Every business has an issue once in a while, but overall of the store is doing such a great job to be doing the business the are something must be done right. The staff is always on top of things and if you ever have an issue the new manager that took over when they opened the new store is always there to help and make you want to come back. Awesome job pizza hut crew of jacksonville!!!!!
worst management in the world – I have never had a problem with any pizza hut that I have ordered from in any place around. The first time I ordered I got double billed and the second time that I ordered it is still opened in my bank. I have called the manager over and over about this and they still have not closed it in my account, this is the worst service in the world. Make a report with the BBB when yo place an order you will need to!
Decent food, bad manager! – I wouldn't bother writing this review if it weren't for the fact that we've had issues with the current manager before. I mean, everyone has bad days! BUT - twice in the last six months we've had issues with our orders and had to deal with the same manager, and twice he has been rude and condescending. There are too many places in town to eat to have to put up with wrong orders and bad managers who don't care if they get it corrected and only want to get customers to leave them alone.
In both cases, we were dealing with online orders which were filled incorrectly. In both cases, we had the email confirmation to indicate that we had ordered exactly what we wanted, and in both cases it was incorrect when we got to the restaurant. In both cases, the manager acted like we were lying, like we were inconveniencing him, and like we were somehow trying to get over on him. The first time, I refused to take the order because it was wrong and I was being charged more than the online system said it should be anyway (I had ordered a personal pan pizza and wound up with a small pizza). He told me I HAD to take it and I HAD to pay what he told me to pay, at which I drove off and only came back to provide him my printed confirmation indicating that what he was trying to push off on me was NOT what I ordered. It was months before we returned, and already we have had another problem - I placed an order for carryout for two pizzas and some pasta, but when my husband got there to pick it up, he was told by the same manager that it was supposed to be delivery and now he was going to have to re-ring it up and made it very clear to my husband that he was causing big problems for the manager. My husband also pointed out that the pasta was missing and the manager informed him rudely that what he was getting was what I had ordered. My husband had already witnessed this guy arguing with another customer and snapping at employees. After the manager flatly refused to consider that there might even be a problem with the order and essentially told him to take what he got, my husband walked out. Again, I have the email confirmation that indicates the manager was wrong. We ordered instead from Hungry Howie's, who doesn't have pasta but they do have good attitudes and they were very happy for our business. We won't be back to this Pizza Hut until the current manager is GONE!
Credit card info – First of all, I used to deliver pizzas myself, so I know how these businesses work. I ordered online and paid with a credit card. Delivery came on time but the delivery person didn't came with my payment info, so he called the store and read my credit card #, exp date, and even the 3 security numbers! He was speaking loud enough and I'm pretty sure people in my apartment could hear that! And I hope the store didn't charge my card twice.. Now I'm just annoyed because I have to constantly check my card activity in case it was charged twice. I hope they were a little more sensitive about customer's financial info...
Pizza was fine by the way.
This national chain is a household name, thanks to its deep-dish and stuffed-crust pies. – In Short
Kid-friendly eat-in restaurants and small takeout shops alike sport interiors done in the signature red and white with a touch of yellow. Orders are placed at the counter--whether customers choose to stay or go--and pies are baked per request. Pizzas--from the hand-tossed to the twisted crust--dominate the menu, but the restaurant also offers chicken wings, salads and cinnamon bread sticks.
