Best cooking show in town!. Roy, the man on the grill, has to be the best cook in Longview, TX.

To watch him put each order togeather is like watching a symtpony conductor in action!

Diners choose a filet and grill it to their liking at this do-it-yourself barbecue.. In Short
Dark woods, white tablecloths and the aroma of sizzling meat greet customers. Patrons can grill their dinner over hickory briquettes on a pit barbecue or let the chef cook it. The dining room grills are large enough to accommodate big groups. Steak choices vary from eight to 24 ounces and include tenderloin, T-bone, rib eye and New York and Kansas City strips. The kitchen also prepares chicken and seafood. Dessert options include a house-made cheesecake.

steakhouse?. The Butcher Shop does make steaks, but they maybe cook 2 a week. Most people go there for the best burgers around. Nice fixin's bar for both the burgers and the baked potatoes. Salad bar is small, but functional. The french fries are handcut and overly abundant servings are given. Beware, if 2 people order one order of fries, then it will be skimpy, but if both order, there are too many. If you see a bus in the parking lot, it will be crowded.
