China Star Chinese Restaurant

GROSS!!!!. When I first arrived in town, I noticed China Star because it was close to where I worked. Being a lover of chinese food, I decided to go one Saturday when I had some time on my hands. The food was ok, run of the mill, nothing special. When I walked into the bathroom immediately after my meal, I was horrified!! There was dirt all over the place, it had not been cleaned it what looked like years. There was permanent dirt marks on the stalls where people would put their hands, they didn't bother to paint over this or to clean the walls at all. The rest of the bathroom hadn't been cleaned either. If you are going to run an establishment, it is important to keep your bathrooms clean, this is part of what will keep customers coming back. Just think, if they don't keep their bathrooms clean, what does their kitchen look like????? EWWWWW!!!! I haven't been back since and that was 4 yrs ago. I will never step foot in there again.…

Best Chinese Buffet. I came from Austin, TX. Found out this Chinese restaurant in Sherman, TX. I heard it's been around for 20+ years, probably the first Chinese restaurant in Sherman. It's a hidden treasure. It's mainly all-you-can-eat but you can also order from their menu. Their food is tasty, and each dish has its own unique flavor. Unlike some Chinese restaurants that tend to have similar flavor in all their dishes. Their ingredients quality is also good. They're famous for their hot-and-sour soup and their fried rice (which you can order from the menu). Tried both, and they're so addicting. I also like their egg drop soup, one of my favorites.Their selection covers pretty much all the standard Chinese dishes. Just this past week I went with my friend to Sherman and ate here for our lunch and dinner. Lunch for about $5.99 per person. Also they have a good selection of seafood for the dinner, $7.99 per person. Haven't found anything better. Just an added value, the owner of this restaurant really cares about their customers.…
