Highly entertaining- just keeps improving. I have been going to Dollywood for over 10 years and I am very pleased to say that there is an effort to keep improving the park. There has been more coasters and water rides added to the park. The new Mystery Mine is AWESOME! Also enjoyed the newer disc ride. It just gets better every year. Thank you Dolly for continuing to improve the park. It really shows. Employees are overall very friendly and helpful and it is an enjoyable place to visit

Excellent park with very friendly staff. After having just gotten back from another park with multiple roller coasters (some of which were constantly breaking down) and very rude park personnel, I really appreciate what we have here in Tennessee. Dollywood is an excellent value. The people there are friendly and helpful. Although there are only two coasters, there are plenty of other rides and things to do and the workers get you through quickly. Cups of cold water are available at any restaurant in the park free of charge. The entertainment in the shows is well above average, compared to other parks. There is also a wide selection of food choices from the usual park fare (fast food) to sit down meals and buffets. If you plan more than one visit, get a season ticket. It is cheaper in the long run.

Okay if you are into live entertainment.... Loads of live entertainment, really only two rollercoasters for the coaster nut. My problem was the lack of facilities. Each area (or land as they call it at some parks) you went into only had ONE set of water fountains. In July with 95 degree temps, they either want you to purchase water for 2.25 a bottle or make you find the hidden warm water fountains. Plus large sections of the park had virtually no shade in the seating areas. It just seemed like the park was poorly laid out.

The Thunderbolt wooden coaster was definetely faster later in the day, when the tracks were warmer. Great ride. The Tennessee Twister, the steel coaster, was a good ride, just not on of the top rides of that type I've been on.

Freezing Fun. I visited a few years ago, from the UK, and really enjoyed myself, even though it was cold (it was late december), I expect it has changed since, but I recommend a visit to anyone.
