They should pay us.............
The employees are probably the only good thing I can comment on; they are always very nice to us and willing to help. The $100 fee is too much....I thought I was paying a deposit; I could maybe
understand the high fee for people with bad accounts or move frequently.
What the heck is wrong with this water????? This is the most horrible water I have ever ever seen in my life!! It is ruining everything in my house....and yes we bought a filter and then we bought a softener. We go to my parents in Sevierville and fill water jugs for coffee and tea. THEY SHOULD PAY US TO USE THIS HORRIBLE WATER!!!! For what they charge, why do I have to drive to get decent water?!? Is this water even healthy?…
Bad Ethics For Any Company. While deciding on Shady Grove or well water, I looked them up. I am shocked at the bad reviews. But I completely agree with them. I see they have 1, and I mean only 1, 5 star review and that looks like it was done by an employee. I agree with the other reviews. A $100 non-refundable fee is high and then making it non-transferable is completely ridiculous. Utility companies are expensive enough as it is. Pick one or the other, but don’t punish your customers. I have decided on drilling a well. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I hope their owners are happy with the ethics they put forth.…
Good service, good company.. I have found that Shady Grove Utility District has been friendly, helpful, and has provided prompt service to all requests. I see that others here protest the $100 non-refundable service activation fee. I didn't like paying it either, but understand they have to pay for vehicles, equipment, and the manpower to send someone out to turn on the valve. I don't really expect that to be free. We pay those fees for cable tv, and other utilities. It would be nice if they could cover those costs from what we pay in the course of paying our bills, but then why should someone who never moves in over 30 years have to cover the cost of those who move frequently and imposes these extra costs on the utility? It really is the fairest way to cover those costs, having those who incur the costs pay them. I find that the water has been good quality - I haven't had a problem with it.…
ripe off. they ask for a 100.00 fee upfront but you dont get it back even if you have been with them for a couple of years.all i want to do is transferr service right next door and they said it would cost me another 100.00.that is just ripping people off.…
In the water company's defense. In defense of the utility company, the $100 fee to active a water account at a new address is not a deposit but an activation fee. What I find absurd is the $50.00 re-connection fee for someone to turn a valve.…
