In defense of the utility company, the $100 fee to active a water account at a new address is not a deposit but an activation fee. What I find absurd is the $50.00 re-connection fee for someone to turn a valve.

it totally ridiculous that everytime ive had to move that ive had to give these people 100.00$ im a single mother n its a shame that they are just robbing people like this....

i cant beleive that a water company as wealthy as sgud would take $100.00 dollar deposits everytime you move and keep the money. I always thought a deposit should be returned or transfered for another address service. shame on you greedy employees of shady grove thanks, fritro
