Very nice cafe with a few sidewalk tables for good weather days. Good dinner/lunch selections, extensive dessert menu, and good wine list. On Thursday-Friday-Saturday evenings, there is live music in Upstairs at the Cafe with local artists featured. Very friendly, competent service both in the restaurant and the upstairs cafe. Pros: good menu, nice ambience in the Upstairs at the Cafe. Cons: It is quite noisy in the cafe downstairs, and the tables are close together.

First St. Cafe is a very cool little restaurant right in the middle of downtown. The food is very good for every meal, but the service can be slow. This is probably one of the best restaurants in Benicia.

The food is very good, but definitely expensive. The employee's are very cordial and nice. I would recommend the First Street Cafe to anyone, because there are many different meal choices.
