My sister is locked up in the detention center and has diabetes. Her blood sugar is running really high (over500). She is really sick in there.
Also not very polite – I agree totally with Lovingood23. I believe the Sullivan County Jail employees need to take a charm class. Not everyone who is arrested is a hardened criminal! A background check and the reason for arrest should be enough to attest to this fact!
Not very Polite – I called this evening to find out when my dad was getting out so I would know when I could plan to make my 2 hour drive out there to pick him up! The officer that answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude and when I asked if I could get an approximate time of release she RUDELY said "we cannot give out that information" When I told her that we were from out of town and needed to know when to make the trip all I was told was HE WILL CALL YOU! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I have seen alot of things in my short life but this beats it all!
treats their inmates worse then dogs – Only lets them go outside in the Am when it is very cold, never waits till it warms up during the day and they are not allowed jackets. Every one there freezes and they are all losing weight and starving. Dogs are trated better at the animal shelter. If they were in prison they would have a lot of rights.
