I Love Berrys - Great Service and Selection. I love Berry's. My family has been puchasing, selling old jewelry, and having jewelry repaired with these folks for 20 years. They have a nice selection of jewelry and do special orders. Their prices are very competitive and their repairs cannot be matched because of their special laser which is unique in the area. My jewelry stays within my site during repairs which is comforting. They also have a new location in the Belle Meade area, although I've not yet shopped there. Mr. Howard and Miss Ricki are real down to earth folks too. I have to think that whomever said their staff was rude is likely a competitor.

Overpriced service. The people that own this store also work at the Belle Mead Jewelry & Repair shop near the Belle Mead Kroger. My husband got me a pair over earrings and was over charged. When we looked into getting my engagement and wedding rings sized, they were asking for way too much. I would not recommend these people to anyone, they are quiet rude.

FINALLY!!! A jeweler to trust AND gets the job done right! Jeweler to Nashville celebs too!. Berrys Jewelry is great...especially for jewelry repairs!

I had an antique ring that no jeweler here in metro Atlanta would even touch, considering the detail work and value of the ring itself. I wanted to have the ring restored (and it was scratched and had divots in various places). Best I could get was that "we can send it out for repair...about 2 weeks time". No way that I would let it out of my sight, let alone let someone ship it off to who knows where.

Meanwhile, I was referred to Berry's by other collectors via the web, as they have a laser machine in-house that could likely make the corrections. Supposedly, only a few jewelers have this type of machine. Being that I travel in the southeast for work, I decided to check them out. It's right in the heart of historic downtown Nashville. Apparently been around for 50 years too. Figure, for that time, they must be doing something right. Anyways, they had no problem whatsoever making the repairs, and turned around the job within the day! Amazing what that laser can do whereas a human hand tools could not. You'd think it was a brand new ring now!

I couldn't be happier, and they've won my business. I make it a point to stop there now for my all my repairs/restoration (I collect antique jewelery). When it came time to purchase as engagement ring for my wife, I ended up using them too as they were more competitive in their pricing versus local chains here in ATL.

Check them out. Say hello to Mr. Howard and Miss Ricki. You might even run into a celeb or two while you're there (check out their customer wall of fame...Johnny Cash, Russel Crowe, various TN senators to name a few).

Best Jewelry Repair I have found!. Berry's has the best jewelry repair service I have found. I feel that other places in town have screwed me over and were not honest and needed to send jewelry off to be sized or repaired. I don't trust those people, I'm afraid their going to switch my diamond or something. This place does it quick, and it looks good as new. Also, I learned that most jewelers don't use the metal of your ring to size it, and these people use the actual metal, which mine was platinum. I've had several pieces of antique jewelry that some of the prominent jewelers in town have said they can't fix it. and this place can fix it! Highly recommend!!!

Worst Service for Jewelry Repair. I recently took my wife's ring to the shop for repairs. While in the shop, I notice another casing that I wanted to have the stone of my wife's ring set in. The jeweler told me that I would have to trade in my old casing and pay an additional $200 for the resetting. At that point I did so and left the store. Within 15 minutes I called to notify the jeweler that I had changed my mind and was returning to get my ring. At that point, he became rude and irrate. He refused to give me a refund and returned my ring in poor condition. The customer service is poor and the jewelers are not professional. If you are looking for good service along with quality jewelry, then this is definitely NOT the place.

Repair my ring. I could not find anyone to fix my wife's ring because of the emerald would have to be taken out and the other jewelers said the emerald my chip. Berrys not only fix my ring, but they did it while I waited. I would recommend them to my friends and appreciate the prompt service.

Rude and Hateful. I went to Berry's to look for inexpensive bands to wear on our honeymoon instead of taking our brand new bands with us. The man that assisted me, no not greeted because he was rude from the get go, was very rude and hateful to me the ENTIRE time that we were in the shop. After speaking with some of my coworkers I found that several of them had the same experience with Rude sales people at the shop. If you are looking for nice jewelry and a friendly staff I suggest that you do not go anywhere near Berry's Jewelry Downtown.
