Since 1991, this storefront on Murfreesboro Road and started making burgers the old-fashioned way. Customers don't mind the wait once they sink their chops into these monolithic altars of Americana. Some of Mo's burgers are so big, they can be measured in pounds, not ounces, and require a zip code variance. Add-ons include a bounty of spicy, curly-cut fries and a barrel of soda. More modest appetites enjoy burgers to scale, as well.

Best Restaurant/Fast Food Hamburger Ever. I had the #3 Combo - 1/2 lb burger, cajun fries, drink. Sensational burger. Cajun Fries were MASSIVE. Close to airport. Friendly ownership. Price was around 6 dollars. Worth every penny.

Mucho burgers.... If your eating hamburgers you need not worry about your cholesterol. These burgers are the Mecca of hamburgers in Nashville. They are awesome! Having eaten the 27 oz. Super Mo twice (in my yonger days) I would only recommend it if you were extremely hungry and wanted a sit down burger you can eat with a fork. I personally prefer the Big Mo combo (1/2 lb burger, spicy fries, and a drink).

Attention burger afficionados!. Fat Mo's burgers are the abosolute BEST this side of California... The only better burger I have had was from a Red Robin in Sacramento their "Monster Burger" is huge with fresh crumbled blue cheeze and served with what they call a Mondo-Bud (Ice cold bud in a very tall glass) Mo has a secret spice he addes to the "Hand made" hamburger patties, fabulous... The regular fries are the shoestring type with a hint of seasoned salt. Fat Mo's is a must for the burger afficionado!

If the seating were better..... If seating and ambiance were better, 'Mos would get an overall 10 from me. There is no good seating. Being a converted Taco Bell it still has a very "packaged" fast food feel. As far as the food goes the burgers are some of the best I have had. The only criticism I would have is they have a slight "frozen" taste. The spicy fries are without a dought the best around.

It could be better.... It was the worst hamburger that I have ever had. It was tough and did not have a good taste. The service was fine and the eating area was clean. I would not recommend going there, but everyone has different tastes.
