I wasn't happy with this salon. I had my hair done there twice and the first time was ok, but the second time was a disaster. I had the same person do my hair for both times and the second time I was there, she pulled my hair so hard that she probably ripped 10% of my hair off. Every time she would say "sorry" but she wouldn't change the way she was treating it. It later turned out that she had another customer coming in in an hour and she needed to finish up by that time. When I walked in she looked at me in a way that you could tell she didn't want me there because she remembered me from the first time and didn't want to have to deal with my long and thick hair. The first time I was there, she had spend about 2-2.5 hours on me and the second time she only spent 1 hour trying to wash, brush, dry and curl my hair fast pulling it hard and ripping it and curling almost wet hair trying to get it over with. I don't remember her name but I don't regret it cause I'm not going back there again. As a result I had almost no curls, tons of ripped hair and in 2 hours after visiting this salon I had perfectly straight hair with no hint to the curls.

Best Hair Salon Ever!. Studio F/X Salon is in their new location and it is awesome - I just love my hairdresser - Charlene Hall - she is now almost my entire family. She is a jewel - We love Studio F/X - clients forever!

Best decision ever!. Greatest place I've ever been! Staff is very nice, services are great and the owner is the sweetest! I will never go anywhere else! I had never had my hair colored professionally and it was the best decision I ever made! I will be back again for sure!

Great place but..... I used to get my hair cut there exclusively for years by Sarah. Then I moved and started getting my hair cut at another salon that was closer to my new home. Then my stylist died and I got a new job. The new job was close to Studio F/X. So, I made an appointment and got a great cut by a real nice red-headed girl. I made an appointment for six weeks later. A few days later, Sandi, the owner, called to tell me that I was not allowed to come in there anymore. I never caused a problem in there and I always tipped well. She gave me no explanation except that I made someone uncomfortable there. So, I found a new place to go. I still think highly of Sandi, her staff and her salon. I find this shunning of a good customer a strange business practice. Please don't let this review sway you from going there. This is just my experience.......

Worst Hair Cut Ever!!. I had the same problem with Deb as Glitterbaby... even sounds like the same haircut! I also was filled in on her whole life story which was very depressing. I don't know if she just needs up to date training but I left with a mullet and cried the whole way home. Not a good overall experience at all!

Best Haircut I've had in years. I was referred to Deb Hiks through a friend. I have had my hair cut at all the "cool" trendy salons in town, and have ALWAYS been let down, and have left with empty pockets...When I first entered the salon, I thought it looked a bit southern. Not very hip. But I am telling you, Deb gave me the best haircut, and color and really talked through what she was doing. The price is half of everyone in town, and the staff was nice.

I am excited to have found someone I like, and will return!!

Wouldn't go anywhere else!. I've been getting my hair cut here since high school - all through college I'd come home just to have Dana do my style. Service couldn't be better, and it's worth every penny.
