Darfons is tops for us.... My girlfriend and I have been going to Darfons for many years now and have never had anything but outstanding food, wine and service. The Chef Todd is amazing and always has the best specials..!! A few nights a go was a Salmon-Trout roll over a White Balsomic and Basil infused Olive Oil...WOW..!! I've read many of the negative reviews and I can say I have never ever seen anything like that in all my years going. A few month back we brought a friend who work in aviation and has been all over the world. He made a point to tell the Manager that he thought Darfonds was one of the best places he has ever been too. So you be the judge... go try it. Please try it more then once and you decide. You will not be let down...and if the weather is nice.. request the open air seating area.

Spoiled Christmas Party. The ladies in my office planned their Secret Santa lunch and all agreed that Darfon's would be a fun place to go. We called 2 weeks in advance to make reservations (party of 10) and requested a private area. We were going to be exchanging gifts and tend to be loud..fun bunch. When we arrived at the restaurant they had our tables set up in the middle of the restaurant and when questioned regarding the private area we were told there were larger parties and they gave the rooms to them. We placed our gifts in a booth adjoingin our seating area. Our waitress approached our table without a greeting and told us it was a busy time and we could not place our gifts in the booth. We explained the situation and she went off to check it out. When she came back she cleared a table next to us and placed our gifts there. After taking our drink orders she went to the bar and shared her tale of woe with all the other servers who promptly turned around to check us out. Never smiled while serving us. Not the way to treat your customers! All of the serving staff looked very unhappy, must not be a nice place to work!

Best Option for DInner Near the Airport. Good, fresh and clean. Desserts are homemade. Better than the other options in the immediate airport area.

Never know. I have to say the food is good, but they don't seem to care about the customer. I asked that the temp be adjusted several times, and no response. I had to wear my jacket throughout the whole meal. rediculous. Service is just average at best. Prices a little bit much for the portion.

Terrible.. The food is bland to say the least... and the service ... is, well, almost non existant. I work near Darfon's and 4/4 times has it been a bad lunch experience.

this place is great!. been in nashville only about a year and this is now the only place i eat out. Possibly the fastest and totally the best service ive recieved in nashville. I do request some off the menu items, which if available they always grant my special orders. As a black man living in nashville tn its hard to find servers and waitresses that always treat you with the same amount of respect and friendliness as any other. Either they are really good at their jobs or they actually like to see my smiling face walk in the door and greet me with a "Hey Mr. Marcus" FAKING IT OR NOT? I DONT CARE, I LOVE DARFONS AND ILL SEE YALL TONIGHT!

They don't care about customers - never again. We have been to Darfon's many times in the last 2 years. The last two times we were at the restaurant the music was so loud it would give you hearing loss! We asked for the music to be turned down (they weren't busy). It was turned down for 2 songs and then right back up again. We couldn't even talk to each other. We did write to the restaurant but have never received a response. Yes, the place is dark! Bring your own candle! While dining people want to be able to converse but their management seems to think loud head banger music is more important. The food is good but everything is extra! Serving sizes have gotten smaller! Yes, service is slow. What next? We figure it is only a matter of time and the food will go down hill with the really slow service and bad atmosphere..

Always a must!. I've lived in Donelson for 7 years now and Darfon's is just always my "go to" place when I have people visiting from out of town.

It's always a hit!

And now they have Saturday brunch! $3.00 mimosas! Steak and eggs! Who could ask for anything more?
